Orlaith and Stuart

I had a great time shooting Orlaith McMahon and Stuart Borthwich's Wedding  on Monday, They were married in Adare and had their reception in the Dunraven arms Hotel and as always the service was five star.

On the morning of the wedding i drove over to the Adare manor Golf course to meet the boys who decided to start the day off with a round of golf, And when Stuart had finished giving the other lads a lesson we headed back to the Dunraven Arms to get ready for the Big day.

Once Stuarts mum had finished dressing the boys or was it Just Justin Daly I took some images and then headed over to Kilcornan to Orlaith's and i really have to say i had a great welcome and everyone was in great humour,

Graffiti shoot limerick

Here are a few images taken in Limerick during the week. On Sunday i went for a drive with My Son, Aaron, We pulled over to have a look at the graffiti. Got chatting to a bloke By the name of David O' Sullivan who is very much involved with All out design (IrishStreetArt.com documents urban pieces taken all over Ireland and the world over the past few years)Anyway as you can see by the images i took a few shots of him, Thank you David enjoyed the shoot.

Gold Award

I'm very pleased to have been awarded a "gold award" in the January monthly SWPP competition for the following image from Christine & Jack's  wedding in the Woodlands House Hotel Adare. I remember the Groom asking me to take a picture of him with his friends as I was packing up. These were very good friends Jack grew up with so I wanted to do something a little different than what would be expected from a normal firing squad line up. I spotted a piano in the bar and decided to use it, I dimmed the main lights an used some off camera flash, I was quiet pleased with the result and I loved the expressions.

Gold Awards go through to the annual judging and are deemed to be images of the highest standard and are also published in Professional Imagemaker.

Damien & Kate wedding at The Springfort Hall Mallow

Recently i had the pleasure of  covering my very good friends, Damien and Kate's wedding in The Springfort Hall Hotel in Cork. Here is a link to some of the moments captured slideshow

The whole day from start to finish was just fantastic  to capture,It was a beautiful day with the sun beating down on everyone, I started in with Damien in the morning and i must say he makes a great cup of tea, Well so i hear, I never got to taste it. But when i had finished with the boys and went on the Kate's i  got my tea, it was worth the wait.

As you can tell by the images they make a beautiful couple and i would like to take this opportunity to wish them all the happiness they deserve.

The hotel gardens and lawns were a delight.In former times Springfort Hall Hotel Cork was known as Baltydaniel, Baltydaniel means the ‘Town of the House of O’ Donnell’. It is not known how it got this name. Springfort hall got its name from a stream which flows south of the House. This stream rises in a spring in the old fort at Pencil Hill. Lewis, in 1029 mentions that triple X was mined in the Land of Baltydaniel(Springfort Hall).

The staff were very friendly and very welcoming.

Cinderella in The Salesian College, Pallaskenry

Over Christmas The Salesian college held their Annual Show, And this year once again they were truly amazing. The ugly sisters were hilarious and really worked well together.

The music and dance was as good as you would see in any major concert arena.

Well done to all who took part and the many people who gave up their time to make this show something special.

Nearly there i think, Been working on seo all week and trying to link my blog to my WEB SITE and i think i am nearly there, I have been looking at Search engine optimization all week, I haven't even scratched the surface, Too much info for my little head which is beginning to hurt. Also working on a Valentines promotion which i need to have ready for the printers by the end of next week,
